Our vertical blinds are available in both 89mm fabric widths. Because many of our fabrics are now machine washable, you can also considerably extend your blinds’ life and appearance.

Vertical blinds are thought of as functional window dressing. Still, with a wide variety of fabric choices available, they can be aesthetically pleasing and contemporary.

What are Vertical blinds?

Vertical blinds feature a series of vertical fabric louvres or slats that you can twist to close and block the window or open wide to let in plenty of light. A chain links the louvres, and a cord on the far right or left operates the blind. To fully open the blind, position all the louvres in an open state and pull the cord to move them to one side. Alternatively, you can split the blinds in the middle, like curtains, with half the louvres moving to the left and the other half to the right.

What are Verticals Blinds made of?

The louvres or slats of these blinds come in a variety of fabrics. Our collection offers a wide range of prints and colours, allowing you to create contemporary looks to suit your style.

Are our Vertical blinds functional?

Vertical blinds are a good solution if you have sizeable full-length glazing, like sliding or bi-fold doors. They help control the light as well as provide privacy. If you need to manage strong sunlight, the louvres can be re-positioned throughout the day to manipulate the light. And when it’s dark outside, you can get semi or fully-close them to obscure the view into your room. When you want to open the door and go outside, the blind can be pulled right out of the way.

Can you use Vertical blinds in bathrooms and kitchens?

Vertical blinds are an excellent option for bathrooms and kitchens. The louvres provide additional privacy and flexible light control. We recommend selecting one of our moisture-resistant or wipe-clean fabrics to prolong the life of your blind.

Are our Vertical blinds suitable for conservatories?

As Vertical blinds are so good at controlling strong sunlight, they are a practical choice for a conservatory. Naturally, there will be much sunlight to contend with, so you can adjust the louvres as the sun moves across space. This will help keep the intense heat and bright light at bay and make your conservatory more comfortable for relaxing.

Can Vertical blinds be used with bay windows?

The beauty of these blinds is versatility. The headrail has a shape to work around curved and bay windows. The individual louvres can be cut to different lengths to fit almost any space, including sloping windows.

Can you get Vertical blinds without the chain?

Yes they are also available with chain-less weights. Each louvre is weighted at the bottom to eliminate any need for stabilising chains along the bottom of the blind. As well as creating a much neater look, this makes them ideal for doorways where children and pets might be moving through.
